Not just for new members - Everyone is welcome!

Are you new to the AMC? Maybe you have been a member for awhile but were hesitant to actually get out and participate. Or perhaps you have heard of AMC but wondered what it was all about. Now is your chance to become involved. Please join us for a fun-filled evening. While viewing a short slide show presentation, leaders representing our various activities will be on hand to explain the activities and answer your questions. Whether your interests are day hiking, biking, paddling, backpacking or trail maintenance we will cover it all. You will learn about many of the AMC facilities, including nearby Mohican Outdoor Center located in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. As well as information about AMC Major Excursions and August Camp. We will answer any questions you may have about the on-line AMC Member Center, "opting in" to receive the electronic version of Appalachian Footnotes. As well as subscribing to our Hotline email which keeps you informed about our latest scheduled activities.

The New Members social will be held from 7:00 – 9:00 PM at the Plymouth Meeting Friends House, 2150 Butler Pike, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462 (click for map and directions...)

This is a free event. No need to register. Come alone or bring a friend, co-worker, or anyone with an interest in the outdoors. Everyone is welcome. Light refreshments will be served. Please join us.
