The chapter's Annual Dinner and Business Meeting is held in early November. We socialize, eat dinner, elect new officers, give out a few awards, and then have an interesting presentation, typically by a world-class adventurer.
The chapter's Annual Picnic is usually in June, at a local park. Hiking, games and a pot-luck cookout are the order of the day - fun for the whole family!
The Activities Social is a pot-luck dinner usually held in March, at which recognition is given to our most-active members, and to our most-active trip-leaders.
Each February, we hold a social and meeting at which the chapter officers present information about the chapter, for individuals interested in learning more about what we do.
The Lehigh Valley Group holds 10 monthly meetings per year (Sept-June) in the Lehigh Valley area with information, slide shows, and socializing. The Lehigh Valley is about 60 miles north of Philadelphia in the 25 mile-wide valley between Blue Mtn. and South Mtn. The region includes the cities of Allentown, Bethlehem and Easton.
